Accessing your money

The KiwiSaver Rules allow you to access your savings when you reach the qualifying date (usually 65) or earlier in certain circumstances.

Retirement withdrawal

This form is to be used when you have reached your Qualifying Date. This is when you have been a member of KiwiSaver for at least five years and you have reached New Zealand Superannuation age – currently 65.

Once completed the form provides us with instructions for payment of your withdrawal amount. It also includes a statutory declaration. This is to confirm your eligibility for the Member Tax Credits you have received (by declaring your residency in New Zealand during the relevant period of your KiwiSaver membership.)

If you have not verified your identity and residential address, you will need to do so before you can access your funds. If you are not sure if you have completed this requirement give us a call.
